Dear Parents, As we approach the last few months of school, I would like to provide some information that pertains to the last dance of the year, “Touch of Class” on April 4th and end of school activities. End of School Activities Criteria: In order for students to attend “end of school” activities such as pool party, assembly, etc., students must meet the following requirements. At the administration’s discretion, requirements may be modified, as circumstances warrant. ►Academics—at least a 1.5 GPA—cumulative for 6th, 7th & 8th grade. ►Attendance—Students must have 80% attendance for 6th, 7th, & 8th grades. ►Citizenship—One U or three Ns on final report card will disqualify a student. ►NO Friday School Restrictions ►NO Suspensions—Home placement will be at administrative discretion. ►Bus Tickets—Any behavior that results in removal from the bus may result in being taken off the Magic Mountain list. ►All Textbooks—must be turned in and damages paid. Lost books must be paid for. ►All Fees must be paid. P.E. locks, Art & Shop fees, charged school lunches, etc. Touch of Class *April 4th* Dance Criteria:
**Students are responsible for tracking their detentions as it relates to be excluded from End of School Activities. Please be aware that parents are not called for lunch detentions. They are, however, called for After School Detentions, Friday School Restrictions, and Suspensions. Remember, 5 LD = 1 ASD and 3 ASD = 1 FSR. And, an FSR does exclude a student from End of School Activities.** If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. Thank you for your continued support.
